I am Tharindu Dissanayake, a lecturer, business professional, researcher and educator with over 10 years of experience in teaching and industry. My teaching focuses on helping students understand Business Studies and Commerce through simple explanations, practical examples and structured examination preparation. My professional experience extends beyond the classroom into business analysis, finance, ERP, digital transformation, data analytics, management and professional education. I currently serve as the Head of Student Affairs and Digital Marketing at a national professional management accounting institution in Sri Lanka. I believe that Business Studies should not be learned simply to pass an examination. Students should understand how business works in the real world and how the knowledge they gain today can support their future academic and professional journey.
